Texas Instruments is one of the largest suppliers in the electronics industry, offering a wide breadth of products. One of their many options is the LMK6x series of oscillators. We’ve had some questions recently asking about top markings for this product line and whether received marks are correct.
Unlike almost all other timing device manufacturers, Texas Instruments actually offers a top marking document for this series - their LMK6x OPN Decoder. This should show the proper top mark for any oscillator from this series. Note that it does not decode date/lot codes - those, as usual, are kept confidential as a means to deter counterfeiting.
