The contacts of the Molex Power Connectors 1720430406 I purchased appear to be oxidized. Is this normal? Will it affect performance?What is the common cause?

This appears to be some discoloration caused by heat. This does appear to be something that can be normal with silver plated contacts, as this discoloration may happen in the plating process.
Based on the provided images, it does not appear that it will affect performance. You will want to make sure to watch out for flaking, pitting, and warping. It may be able to be cleaned off using a contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.
