------Question for CP303100X Please Put your question below------

I ordered one 4654-CP303100X-ND connector on Invoice Number REDACTED.The product I received is not the product advertised!

The Cliff connector CP303100X is supposed to be a 3.5mm TRRS Female connector. What I received is a 3.5mm TRS connector with a switch on the “T” contact. There is no connection to the “S” contact (Shield). Sadly, there is no part number on the connector to verify.

It is useless for our application and rather annoying since it didn’t work which caused us a lot of confusion and extra work.

Maybe somebody at DigiKey put the wrong part in the bag or you mixed up the parts in storage.
You might want to fix this before it causes someone a big problem.

When you figure it out, please send me the correct part!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The manufacturer indicates they use Jack Socket part number FC68137V in this sub assembly.

This indicates DigiKey’s webpage has an error that calls this out as a TRRS. We can certainly work with you in this regard. Unfortunately I’m not seeing a TRRS version of this part available.

I have submitted an error report to have the TRRS changed to TRS with Switch on our webpage.
