Why does this TO-92 have formed/bent leads even though the datasheet shows the part with straight leads? Example Diodes Inc/Zetex pt# ZVNL110ASTZ has crimped leads. Why does that not show on the datasheet?
In order for a TO-92 package to be placed on a tape and reel the leads have to be bent (spread apart). This helps insure that the parts will stay in the tape. See the link listed for this mfr’s TO-92 taping information.
