I’m looking to send a DC signal across MM fiber that has LC connectors. By DC I need the transmitter to be on 100% of the time for a long time, like 24Hours. We want to use fiber to transmitte our fault signalling which is on/off. not pulsing. I’m looking at the AFBR-57B4APZ but wanted to know if there are other Transceivers that would work with LC connector.

I’m not finding any other DC-coupled options at the moment. Given that SFP modules of the sort are designed to a standard with data transmission in mind, the options aren’t likely to be numerous.
Industrial Fiber Optics makes a useful line of discrete transmitters and receivers for plastic optical fiber that are lower cost and seem better suited to the sort of application described. Might be worth a look.
