Why are the part numbers on the labels so small?

The part numbers on the new labels are considerably smaller than they used to be. The labels themselves are bigger, but they seem to be filled with empty space or useless information like “DigiKey” in huge letters or the digikey address. The actual, useful information is now in a small font in a little area in the upper left. This is a real step backwards in usability.
