YAGEO provides a selection of passive components, including their TVS protection diodes SMAJ15A-HP6 series of diodes. We’ve had a few questions recently concerning the difference between the HP6 products and the HP6AT products; what does the additional ‘AT’ indicate in these product numbers?
The ‘AT’ indicates Automotive qualification to AEC-Q101 standards. These AEC qualified products can drop in for the general-use versions without issue but not the other way around, as is typical for automotive products.
