24VDC Loop Power and 4-20 mA Isolation

Hello, I need assistance to verify the following:

  1. Will this isolator work for this situation?

  2. How would the isolator be placed in the wiring diagram?

  3. I have a flow meter that is 24 VDC loop powered, 4-20 mA output. I would like to isolate the 4-20mA output so I can attach it to a data logger. The datalogger manufacturer recommends this isolation device. Will this work or is there another you would recommend? DigiKey Link - Seneca Z110S

  4. The flow meter recommends this for the wiring diagram: Seametrics: Page 3 “Standard Connections”

Let me know if there is any additional information that would help clarify and thanks in advance for your time and knowledge.

The 4637-Z110S-ND would be sitting directly between the Output of the sensor device and the input of the data-logger.

From what I can see there should be 2 sets of out connections on the sensor device and I would expect that the “sensor output” set would be the one you would want to attach to.

I also would expect that this would work for your needs from what you are saying and the data listed for that item.
