Can someone help to confirm the correct DigiKey part number for a 3M TC/TC-Q GEN II hot melt gun with an electrical plug suitable for Australia (Type I)?
Hi jeff2, welcome to the forum! I did some searching and while I found a 3M model number/SKU for the AU/NZ version of this hot melt gun, it looks like we don’t stock it. If you email us at applications.engineering@digikey.com we can quote it as a special order, and give you pricing and lead time information.

Looking into the brochure for this product, it states the following:
“PTC self-regulating heater allows models that operate on voltages from 110Vac to 230Vac”
This means that there is no internal difference between any of the models for different countries because the PTC self-regulating heater compensates for voltage differences. Therefore, one could simply use the US model - 7100278633 - and connect a US style NEMA 1-15R or NEMA 5-15R to Australian AS3112 adapter, if you’re OK with doing so.
