We are currently using the following cage: Molex “QSFP-DD 1X1 SF ASSY, OT, 2RL, https://www.digikey.jp/ja/products/detail/molex/2031431355/10718740” We would like to obtain only the heatsink clip as a standalone part.

During our search, we found the following items:

Could you please confirm whether these heatsink clip are compatible with each of the above QSFP-DD cage? Also, are there any other suitable or recommended products available?

  • Molex 1000130181 is a heatsink clip designed specifically for QSFP+ cages, not QSFP‑DD.
  • Your cage, Molex 2031431355, is a QSFP‑DD (Double-Density) assembly.
  • According to the Molex product specification, QSFP‑DD cages use dedicated clips matched to their load-bearing and latch configurations due to different dimensions.

Conclusion: The 1000130181 clip is not compatible with the QSFP‑DD 2031431355 cage.

Unfortunately, there is no suitable alternative.
