About window on Beaglebone

Hi I am testing LCD with Beaglebone black.
LCD and BBB are connected via HDMI.

when I booted BBB, LCD showed only text like the picture below

I want LCD to show grahic screen like winow (x window).
I dont know how to set up config.
Can you help me that LCD shows the graphics window on the screen?

Make sure to install, fbdev driver and xrandr utilities:

I succeeded in making graphic window visible on lcd with your help

I have a new problem.
I want to automatically disable the login screen at bootup.
Below is the screen after booting.

Please let me know how to make the login dialog not appear automatically at boot time.

Hi @taek8461 there are different instructions for each login manager… Did you install lightdm, xdm, sdm, or etc…

With lightdm, you need to edit, /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

#autologin-session=

Un-comment both (#) and add your user name, session should be which desktop you want, xfce, kde, lxqt, etc… You should have some versions here:

ls /usr/share/xsessions/*.desktop

Try disabling dpms mode and screen blanking, with the xset utility from ; ( sudo apt install x11-xserver-utils )
