Another cry for help with replacement capacitors please?

Hello, I have been trying to find some reaplcement capacitors for a JBL Subwoofer for many hours now and I have reached my wits end at this point. I never thought parts like this would be this hard to find but I was wrong, as usual. I am looking for a few different ones, but right now the main capacitor I cannot seem to find a replacement for is below.

I don’t know enough to start trying to figure out using a different type, at least not on my own so I come to the professionals for help.

I am looking to buy a couple:

Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors 3300uF/80V M (R)22x48 Radial Through Hole. I have only found ones rated up to 63v on DigiKey.

The JBL Part # for these is: 034-330780-300 if that matters.

If I can’t find these, is there another type that I can use possibly?
I very much appreciate any help.

Thank You

Jim

Hello @jimmiemonica,

Thank you for your post.

Here is a link to a few options that fit your description that are in stock.

Thanks for yoru reply Brent. The problem I ma having is figuring out how these mount to the board. I incorrectly thought “Through Hole” meant they were the traditional ones that go through the board and are soldered directly to it. These appear to be snap in type and I don’t know how to mount them to the board. Any suggestions? Thank You again and happy holidays!

Please disregard. I thought “Snap In” meant that there’s a mount of some kind and you actually snap in the caps to that. I didn’t realize you solder snap in caps as well and that “snap in” just makes the process a little easier, at least from what I have read. Lesson learned. Thank You again for putting up with an idiot like me. Happy Holidays!

Jim
