Could you please confirm if this adapter fits directly onto the onboard antenna connectors (J1 to J4), or are those connectors MMCX Female?"

The datasheet for the part M7E-TERA-CB calls out the the connections are U.FL.
But is it the same with the Carrier Board because i want to connect it with this connector

Since the datasheet only states U.FL or edge pad, you should not even consider that it would be a MMCX connection. If there was an variation for a different connector, then it would state that. The pigtail the you provide has U.FL on one end.
And the edge pads look to be only for the DEV Kit.
