We are planning to use AR8031 Ethernet PHY in our design. We saw part status as NRND (Not recommended for new design). We would like to get notification link/document from Qualcomm vendor stating its find NRND. We couldn’t find anything in website.
Also suggest us the equivalent part to be used.

Nothing found for this part on the manufacturer’s website.
Also, we do not have an equivalent to offer as a substitute.

I have not found any info on the NRND status, though it is likely correct. Hopefully David_1768 will get a reply soon.
In the mean time, I did come across this TI document offering alternatives and giving detailed differences to help convert from the AD8031. They recommend the DP83867 or DP83869 as alternatives.
