Hi guys from Grand Forks! A student broke a barrel plug on a low vision device. Would anyone be able to tell what type of connector part number this would be? It has three solder points with a pin in the center. I took a picture of a wire end with the DigiKey ruler for reference on the AC adapter end so perhaps that helps with how large the port is?

5.5mm OD is very common, with 2.1 and 2.5mm IDs both seen afield. See this post for ideas on telling the difference between the two.
This would be my short list of options to consider, assuming that what you’ve got is one of those two. Be forewarned though that parts of this type are notorious for having many very similar-looking parts on the market that don’t quite fit an existing board footprint or panel opening.
