The solder tab on MPD (Memory Protection Devices) part number BCAAL the actual part the customer received is smaller than shown in the drawing and online photo.

MPD has informed us that the tab has changed and will be smaller now than before.
The longer tab was made in China until the end of 2017. The shorter one is currently made in Taiwan and is the new one. The fact that we have Long tabs and Short tabs in the mix does not change the way this holder works nor does it prevent it from working properly.
The size change will be noted on the next version of the datasheet.
