What is the shelf life of this battery? I want to get a spare replacement for the future and not sure if it will still be good in 3 years.

Li-ion batteries will naturally start losing their ability to hold a charge after a period of time.
- the warranty should be 3 years but expected shelf life to be 5 years.*
5 years IF properly maintained temperatures, Humidity & recharging.
