Bluetooth Chip Alternative

I’m trying to figure out the difference between two Bluetooth chips:

BGM111A256V2

and

BGM111E256V2

As far as i can tell they are effectively the same. The E model does not have a datasheet available which makes this comparison difficult. I’m wondering what the A/E in the product name indicates and what the main difference is.

I"m already using the A model, can I drop the E model in without making any firmware/hardware changes?

Hello!

The below link shows a comparison of these items on our site.

From that, I would say that the “E” version can be used in place of the “A” version.
