I bought this Bulgin PXP6014/02S/ST connector to use on an aluminum enclosure thinking it would come with an M24-1.5 back nut but it did not. I can’t seem to find one anywhere. Anyone used this connector before and if you did can you suggest the back nut to use for it?

Thank you for contacting DigiKey , sorry I am not finding any nuts that size to offer , I checked the manufacturer web site and they do not offer a nut for this connector , it looks like it was designed to screw into a threaded panel to hold it in place .
Thanks Craig
Hello @walterc,
I suspect you wanted this
Please reference the Bulgin catalog pages 48 and 49.
Best wishes,
APDahlen
@Craig_2048 - Thanks! That’s what I am afraid of. I cannot find that and I don’t have that tap. It’s a really nice connector but useless if I can’t secure it. And I’ve already drilled the enclosure! I wrote Bulgin.
@APDahlen - Not sure what you referenced in that document? It doesn’t specify a nut and that’s the part I already ordered and received from DigiKey. Sorry for any confusion.
PXP6014 vs PXP6012
@APDahlen Are you pointing to the thread dimensions for this connector because I don’t see a nut on those pages. Apparently, we are going to have to 3D print a nut. Otherwise, we’ll have to buy a 21mm drill bit, a new enclosure, and a M24-1.5 tap for something that could easily be remedied by Bulgin supplying an M24-1.5 nylon nut. It’s a shame because the connector is nice. This is my first Bulgin product and I was impressed until I ran in to this problem. Now I doubt I’ll use it because of the extra fabrication effort required. Such a shame.
Hello @walterc,
The PX6014 is designed to screw into the panel.
The PX6012 is designed to clamp into the panel.
Sincerely,
Aaron
@APDahlen - I think I’m following you better now.
Is this correct: The 6012 fits into a non-threaded hole in the panel and is supplied with a matching nut that is screwed on to the 6012 to secure it to the panel.
The 6014 screws directly into a threaded hole in the panel.
Both work with the 6010 plug.
I already have the PXP6011/02P/ST/0507 plug which works with the PXP6014//02S/ST I already have. If I understand correctly it won’t work with the 6012 otherwise, I think I’d just order the 6012. However, since we’ve already drilled the enclosure for the 6014, we will need to get a new enclosure or an IP67 plug for the existing hole. Ugh.
@Kristof_2649 BINGO! Thank you!
@Kristof_2649 The cable gland came in today and the nut from it works perfectly.
However, we goofed and drilled the hole on the wrong side of the box. I don’t see a 24mm waterproof plug. I see 20 and 25mm. Any more creative solutions in your magic toolkit? Considering putting one of the 24mm glands on it and plugging the cable outlet with a rubber stopper.
I am not seeing a 24mm plug I think what you were thinking should work using a rubber stopper inside the cable gland .
Thanks Craig
There’s some options in the box accessories that may be more tailored to the purpose, but they do get pricey rather quickly.
Insofar as the cable gland is made to seal against most any smooth, round surface within the specified size range, a plain old bolt of suitable length may be a convenient field expedient with less risk of loosening compared to something tapered, as most rubber stoppers are.
