We hope this message finds you well.

During an XRF screening of a diode component supplied by your company, bromine (Br) was detected. Our customer has requested a detailed analysis report, but before proceeding with that, we would like to clarify a few points with you.

Could you please confirm the following regarding the diode in question:

  1. Does the component contain any brominated flame retardants (BFRs)?
    (e.g., PBBs, PBDEs, TBBPA, etc.)

  2. Is bromine normally expected to be present in this component as part of its design or material composition?

  3. Kindly provide the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for the relevant material(s), so we can verify the content rate and support the analysis.

We would appreciate your prompt response on this matter, as it is required for further reporting to our customer.

If you have any questions or need additional details, feel free to reach out.

Thank you for your cooperation.
