Cable Gland Thread Differences - PG vs NPT vs Metric

I was looking for a Cable Gland for the Harting Hood 1195-3469-ND.
This states a Thread Size of PG29.
These are the Cable Gland options to use.

What does this size PG29 call out?

The PG stands for Panzer-Gewinde . This is a German type thread.
The Main difference on this vs NPT and Metric is that the depth of the thread is smaller but has a larger flank angle, which makes it have a wider pitch along with a straight thread.

PG Gland Sizes

NPT Thread = National Pipe Thread
These will have a 1/16 taper to the threads. This allows the flanks of the threads to seal together when torqued.
these are set up as

NPT Sizes

Metric Thread
These have a straight Thread but are set up as: example M12 x 1.5
M = Metric
12 = diameter in mm
1.5 = pitch in mm
