Can the negative output of DC - HVDC converter be battery grounded?

If I want to ground the negative output of DC-HVDC converter (FS series, 10W), what should I do? Whether to connect the negative output of the converter to the negative terminal of battery or should I connect simply connect the negative output of converter to any grounded object?

Sure sir…The part number is 1470-3292-ND (FS20-12)

According to the datasheet you can wire up the negative output or positive output to the negative input for reversible versions of this part.

You want to connect it to the electrical bus that is directly connected to the negative input on the converter.
