Hand soldering is possible with our surface mount type A6SN. The recommended conditions for each model are listed below. Please pay attention to the iron tip temperature, heating time, and scattering of flux.

Omron’s surface mount type A6SN can be hand-soldered. Please refer to the conditions below, and be sure not to allow flux to adhere to the switch or to scatter.


Please note that for other surface mount types, hand soldering is not recommended.

For manual soldering, do not solder the switch more than twice, including rectification soldering, and only solder once for A6TN and A6SN. An interval of five minutes is required between the first and second soldering.
