Cloud9 bash - how to increase number of displayed lines

Hi Robert,

I could find the number of lines (or buffer size) for Cloud9 / bash terminal window as shown:
image

It doesn’t create/show vertical scrollbar for viewing more lines of display.

Thank you,
David

Hi @dzhou, it should resize, but you may have to try a different browser.

We are actively searching for a replacement for Cloud9, it’s been EOL since 2018.

Might even be related to this fix: https://github.com/c9/core/commit/3af82905d308e9ee433b6316c55fd821730b21f9

Hi Robert,

Well, if it is something related old version of Cloud9, then I am ok and can work around. I thought there are some settings I missed, such as number of max lines of bash window, enable vertical bar, etc. It is just not helpful for compiling c/c++ code. Usually the first a few lines need to be corrected first, but they are not visible under current cloud9. I work around with other tools. Thank you.

Best Regards,

David

Hi @dzhou, are you on Debian Stretch or Buster?

This is cloud9 thru: Chrome: Version 84.0.4147.105 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Regards,

Hi Robert,
I am using Buster. But from your screen dump, it seems to me it doesn’t show the vertical scollbar, too.

Thanks,

David
