Myself and DigiKey tech help could not find this SMD SOT 89-3 component with the markings 9C108 in any databases. I think it is a Neg. 5Volt LDO regulator.

I was not able to locate a match or alternate in our system. Sometimes we have luck finding a replacement so hopefully someone else has better luck than me and finds an alternate to offer.

Thank you, that is the same number I came up with. It also seems to make sense in the circuit.
