Greetings folks.
I’m still learning my way around DigiKey and electric design.
Would like a confirmation that these 2 connectors do in fact mate (Since their STL models don’t line up at all)
As far as spec sheet and all goes, they appear to mate but the models don’t seem correct then.
They do have the same pitch and are both listed as mates for each other on their DigiKey product page. They are both listed as being at least board to board connectors, so it would appear that these two would mate.
So it would seem to me as well but it feels like the female connector’s pip in the middle is offset from the center and that is represented in the 3D model of it as well.
Suppose worst case scenario - I can just trim some plastic out on the male connector.
Thanks
The first picture for S9194-ND does show that the key is off center, but do note that “Image shown is a representation only. Exact specifications should be obtained from the product data sheet.” If you look at the CAD models provided, the key is centered.
I see!
Really made a fool of myself there. Thanks a lot! still learning my way around.
Appreciate you taking the time to respond and point me at something I clearly missed, cheers
