Can this toner identify Cat6A cable which has a screen?

The effectiveness of any toner probe kit (including CTX690) can be diminished on shielded cables. Shielding reduces the tone strength outside of the cables jacket causing difficulty tracing the cable. Techniques for toning shielded cables may include directly connecting to the shielding. Grounding the toner may also help to amplify the signal.
