This article will describe where to get the Agilex™ 5 Simics Virtual Platform relevant to the DE-25 FPGA Dev Kit
In order to setup this please go to the following link. After downloading it, change the permissions please and do the following,
DigiKeyCoffeeCup@M1:/ ./AlteraSimicsSetup-intel-fpga-ext_26.1.0.9-linux.run
This will install the Agilex™ 5 Simics Virtual Platform. In our next article we will continue with this Agilex™ 5 Simics Virtual Platform that will run the dining philosophers in Zephyr RTOS please stay tuned. The DE-25 FPGA Dev Kit is a powerful platform featuring an HPS/FPGA Agilex 5 (available as D-Series and E-Series depending on the case) capable of implementing Tensor AI slices,
that go beyond what traditional/classical old school DSP slices implemented in the past,
and it is available at DigiKey.
