Interface to a PC or similar device is typically achieved through a standard USB interface.

Type: The type, style, or nature of the device.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as buttons (count) or programmable functions.
Axis: Indicates how many axes of movement the device has, and thus how many axes of movement it can control.
