Is this switch a Type1 or Type 2 switch? they are the same Up and down position but are opposite in the middle positions.
i just need to know if its a type 1 or type 2 switch to work with the wiring diagram I have.

I do not see a Type 1 or 2 on the Datasheet.
They do list the function of the 7211 switch, for what pins will connect, as:
POS 1: 2-3, 5-6 // POS 2: 2-3, 5-4 // POS 3: 2-1, 5-4.
So looking at these pin locations, and your picture, I would say it lines up with the Type 2.
Because the switch will only connect to pin 1 (Top Left or Bottom Right), in POS 3.

I’m pretty certain it’s Type 2, based on the following information, but I would recommend testing it prior to hard wiring, just to be absolutely certain.
From pages 3 & 4 of the 7211SYZQE datasheet:
Based on the above info, in position 2 (the middle position), it would be connected as drawn below:
