The 2K5% leads me to believe it’s calling out 2k ohm +/- 5% tolerance, which are the same specs for the device with the extra 0, Y00532K00000J0L.
To me, I believe that due to the smaller size of the component itself, VPG needed to reduce the number of characters to fit as much of the part number as possible on the case. The missing 0 wouldn’t affect anything in this instance, as there is no fractional resistance value, it’s 2k ohm at maximum resolution. Y00532K00000J0L looks like what you’d want to be looking for, but you will want to verify the pin spacings are correct. HERE is the datasheet, page 2 has the spacing information.
Looking at the part number breakdown, the “value” portion of the part number should be 7 characters long, as seen on page 4 of the datasheet. The necessary number of zero’s are padded on the trailing end of the value section to reach 7 characters.
So your part number is just missing the last zero.
I believe that @caleb.stengrim is likely correct about interpreting your description as 2K value with 5% tolerance. The “J” calls out the 5% portion, so that also matches with part number Y00532K00000J0L.
I wager one cookie that somebody simply went boggle-eyed trying to count zeros at some point…
Strictly speaking though, it’s not possible for us to tell you one way or another if a part number discrepancy or part substitution is acceptable or not. Asking the folks that sent you the info to correct and re-send would theoretically correct the issue at the source, preventing future recurrence and relieving you of potential culpability for an oopsie.
that is a legit part number, the other one is missing a zero. Please double check with the POC who gave you that info before ordering it. The reference datasheet is here for your convenience,
