Does LED efficiency increase with lower drive currents?

I appreciate that advise. It is a bit difficult for me to make an accurate measurement, especially before actually putting the system in place. But, I’m not going to go completely without thermal management. I’m going to use aluminum L channel, 1"x 1" and 1/8 thick. I’ll secure the strip to that with thermal tape. I’ll start with that and it heat becomes a problem I’ll have to reassess. In the mean time I’ll have the dimming function of the B model to turn the current down a bit.
