Tripp Lite is a well known supplier of electronic power and circuit protection equipment, as well as power electronics more broadly. One such device is IS1800HGDV, a high-grade medical isolation transformer. We’ve recently gotten some questions on replacement components for this product, fuses in particular. Does it ship with fuses, and if not (or if the fuses blow), what fuses does Tripp Lite offer for it?
The transformer is designed to take standard 5x20mm cartridge fuses. The product does ship with both a 115V and a 230V fuse set, though which replacement fuses you need once these are expended depends on your location and application requirements. 15A fuses, for the 115V option, can be found here: 15A 250V 5x20mm fuses. 8A fuses, with a bit more overhead for 230V circuits, can be found here: 8A 400V+ 5x20mm fuses.
