I have a schematic that calls for a 15000uf 80v photo flash cap. Is there a substitute for dumping 24v in milliseconds into a battery? Here we put those posts that don’t have specified Category.
Welcome to the forum.
A large capacitor is the only inexpensive way I know of to reliably supply a lot of current very fast.
I would agree with Paul on this. your capacitor is the best option for dumping quickly to a battery make sure also you have a heavy awg cable.
