Gerber File Upload issues

Hi - we use Altium as our primary board design tool. I am interested in using the dkred service, but struggling with errors upon uploading my zipped gerber files. it just says there’s an error, and doesn’t really give good feedback so I know what I am doing wrong…Looking for some direct feedback to get me going on this and hoping this service works for our simpler board designs!
Thanks, Bill

Hi @wyoung, welcome to the forum. I’m sorry the PCB Builder / DKRed program is causing some issues. I know on our next release we are hoping to integrate error messages. I’m going to send you a PM with my contact information so we can further troubleshoot what is going on with your files.

Better still, why don’t you post how to get your required file formats from Altium? I’ve been going round in circles trying to upload Gerber Files.

Hi @user120, I sent you a PM reply yesterday. If I can get a copy of your gerbers emailed to me I can take a look to see what’s going on.

I have been working with Fusion360 support on a problem I am having with Gerbers I am uploading to your site / service. There are two PnP files that are being displayed in the preview, and there is some kind of problem with the scaling of the drill file and the profile relative to the size of the Copper, soldermask, and silkscreen layers. Fusion360 support told me to look at the file in ViewMate as a reference, and the file looks fine there. I suspect the problems I see are things you can tweak by hand at your end, and I would like to proceed with uploading it, but I am afraid to sign off on what I see in the upload screen. Are there any options for workaround in a situation like this? Some screenshots below:

Zoomed out – note the board layout without drills and profile is in the bottom left corner, ad much smaller scale than the drills/profile:
