Hello! I’m looking for a compatible 6.8ohm heating resistor for a 3D printer hot end (SeemeCNC Orion). The one that it uses is no longer being produced. Looks like it’s

  • 6.8 Ohm
  • 3 Watt
  • Ceramic wire-wound

The diameter of the hole is 6mm and its 20.5mm at it’s longest and 8.25mm at it’s shortest. I could order from the original manufacturer but they want 3 USD plus $26 USD to ship it to Canada which seems absurd. Hoping I can find a compatible one that is on a Canadian website.

Looks like the specific part number of the resistor they’re using is W21-6R8JI from TT Electronics

Unfortunately it’s a non-stocking item for us.

The closest stocking item I can find to this would be part number: G22041436808J4C000 from Vishay Beyschlag/Draloric/BC Components

Nice, thanks! I’m trying to read the specs but I don’t understand them… is the diameter of that one 6mm?

The dimensions of that resistor Kristof gave is 0.224" Dia x 0.512" L (5.70mm x 13.00mm)
