How do you solder wires to the insert in M80 mini DIN? There is no soldercup.

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum community.
For Same Sky (Formerly CUI Devices) part number MD-80, DigiKey part number CP-2080-ND the wire would be soldered to the pins.
The MD series datasheet on page 2 states “solder wires to housing”.
How? Wrap wire around pin? That doesn’t leave room between contacts.
Show me how you would solder this.
