I am using a Microchip I2C digital pot in a new design. It is a MCP4541-502E/MS. Their documentation does not, as far as I can find, indicate the default I2C address for the device. There is an A0 pin for addressing and the documentation also doesn’t explain how to connect this pin and how that affects the I2C address, if at all. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I’m going to contact Microchip too but I suspect this group will respond faster!!! Thanks in advance!

Got it. I saw that but I’m so used to documentation saying something like
A0 attached to Vdd gives address 0x2F, A0 attached to Ground give address 0x2E that I just got confused by this. b + A0 is weird in my opinion
