Inquiry regarding material specs, liner adhesive, and roll availability for PDMS-100-250-252

------Question for PDMS-100-250-252 Please Put your question below------

Hello, I am considering purchasing this 100-micron PDMS sheet for microfluidic chip fabrication and have a few technical questions:

  1. Base Material: Could you please specify the exact silicone elastomer used to manufacture this PDMS film? For instance, is it made using Dow Corning Sylgard 184 (with a 10:1 base-to-curing agent ratio)?

  2. Support/Liner & Adhesive: I understand the film comes with an adhesive support. Is this protective support attached to both sides or just one side of the PDMS sheet? Also, what is the material of this support (e.g., PET), and does it use any chemical adhesive/glue? (Note: We need a perfectly clean, residue-free PDMS surface for plasma bonding with glass).

  3. Roll Format Availability: Do you offer this 100-micron PDMS film in a roll format (e.g., a 10-meter roll) instead of pre-cut sheets?

Thank you for your time and support.

Hello mjgya,

This is a Marketplace product on the DigiKey website, which means it can be ordered from our website, but it will be shipped to you by the manufacturer.
For the specific base material used to manufacture this product, you will have to check with the manufacturer, as it may be proprietary information, and it may require an NDA to find out the specifics of their manufacture process.
The datasheet does not mention anything about adhesive being applied to it.
The datasheet also states the product is supplied in rolls in multiples of 1m X 250mm.
However, we do not list the rolls on the DigiKey Website, so you would have to contact the manufacture for the correct ordering part number, availability, and how to order it.
