Linear Angle Sensor with Analog Outputs

Hi All,

I am looking for a linear angle sensor with analog outputs. Looking to measure deflection of height on springs using the deflection angle as it moves up and down. The sensor would need to sit sideways to show height movements.

What products would you recommend?

A plain old potentiometer would be a classic approach to that task. Digi-Key also stocks a wide variety of angular position sensors based on various operating principles that might be useful.
