I have two power wires running between boards currently connected using a terminal block (Wago 2060-452/998-404) on each board. I am looking to replace these with some locking connectors rated for 16awg wire and 12-15A. One connector needs to be vertical and one needs to be right angle.
I’ve identified the Hirose DF63 connectors as a great option (vertical: DF63M-2P-3.96DSA; right angle: DF63M-2P-3.96DS), but the right angle connector is too large to fit in the constraints of my PCB board stack. I need a connector very similar to that that is no more than 8mm proud from PCB to the “top” of the connector. The vertical DF63 connector I listed works great and fits in the space provided at the opposite end of that connection, but I would like both connectors to be consistent for crimp contacts/manufacturability.
