LOOKING FOR CRIMPING TOOLS

Hi, I’m looking for a crimper that works for open barrel TE pins PN#1670144-1.

There seems to be a wide range of tools and even wider range on pricing. Not wanting to break the bank on this one at the moment.

Have seen multiple crimpers with different profiles but can’t put my finger on “What is the right one”.

Thanks in advance!

Pd: hopefully Im posting this in the right section.

Hello jaec, welcome to the community.

The hand crimp tool is 2368740-1

Jaec,

You may be interested in these crimp tools below. They are not associated with any particular terminals or connectors but if you take a little bit of care and if you are not doing a production run then they may just be a good option.

I do hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestions @Jeff_2258 but that is over my initial budget.
@AaronRollens thanks for bringing these to the conversation. Will look into them. Have been looking into similar options, even the chinese interchangable jaw crimpers but the feedback on those isn’t great. There are some Delphis with a similar price point.
Anything I should be looking for besides gauge and crimping profile?

You should focus on the gauge of the wire and the crimping profile when checking for a crimp tool. We cannot guarantee the quality of the crimp if you use tools not recommended by the manufacturer.
