Mating Connector Options:
According to the datasheet, WTF083B001 is compatible with USCAR 3140x-2110 connectors, which are available in two variants:
- 0314022110: TE/Molex “GET” terminal system
- 0314032110: Molex 0.64mm terminal system
The manufacturer has confirmed that both options will work as long as the mating terminals are tin-plated. The choice depends on the terminal system preferred by the customer.
Cable Assemblies:
- Molex offers MX64 cable assemblies, which use 314032100 connectors without a CPA (Connector Position Assurance).
The CPA is a secondary locking mechanism that provides extra security to the connection. All connectors already have a primary locking mechanism (the finger push tab) to hold the connection in place.
A connector without a CPA can still mate and function properly with WTF083B001, but it will only rely on the primary lock for securing the connection.
