I am using a Norcomp 851-002-103R004 on a box to connect 24VDC for a current loop sensor in the box. I am now trying to build the mating cable with and ordered NorComp part number 850-002-203RSS4 thinking I could solder the conductors to it and it would have an IP67 backshell but it doesn’t come with that apparently and I cannot find any part that provides that protection. I couldn’t get NorComp’s attention. Any suggestions? I am willing to buy a pre-made cable if I could find the right one although I really needed to finish this today (out of the question, of course).

I was looking for some options that may work for this project, but I am not coming up with anything solid to offer. I did get the links to these connectors and accessories but the M5 size does not have a backshell option that i can find. Hopefully something on this list can offer you a solution.

Thank you @ryan_urness! I wish I didn’t have to but I ordered the NOR1455-ND cable assembly. I was used to having a backshell come with a plug that claims IP67/68 that I didn’t look at the documentation closely enough. Now I have two mating plugs I can’t realistically use in prototyping. But the cable should let us move forward.
