I am attempting to get this supply on our unit’s critical component list. The PLC-100-24 is UL1310 & EN60950-1 tested. TUV is requiring proof the the supply was pre-conditioned at 40C and 93% RH before the electrical testing. This is a recent change to the EN61010 standard. UL1310 preconditions at a lower temp. EN60950-1 tests at 40C in most situations. Mean Well provided the UL1310 test report, but they have not provided the EN60950-1 test report and have stopped responding to my emails. Does anyone have any way of getting the test report or arguing with TUV that because it is certified for EN60950-1 it passes?
The TUV certificate on Mean Well’s website is last dated 2014. It doesn’t sound like they would currently have a new test report with updated requirements. I’m reaching out to you for personal contact information to see if we can look into this further.
