Microchip fully backward Compatible – Field Programmable Gate Array Devices

Since the RTSX-SU family of Microsemi® / Ex-Actel SoC Product devices are 100% library compatible and density-matched with the SX-A family of devices, designers can 1st complete a design targeting the RTSX-SU and then simply retarget the design to an equivalent SX-A device when prototyping.

Please refer to the short table below for the correlation between the SX-A device and matching RTSX-SU devices as Radiation-Tolerant FPGAs to be used for space flight (Enhanced Aerospace and New Space) applications from Microchip Technology:
