Hello,

Would you advise the digikey part number for mil-dtl-24308/4-6 connector, it’s crimp tool and crimp pins associated please?

Hello jgibson, welcome to the TechForum! Is this a circular connector of some kind or something else? When I searched for M24308/4-6F, it came up with a few D-Sub connectors, see below:

M24308/4-6F Cinch Connectivity Solutions | Connectors, Interconnects | DigiKey Marketplace

M24308/4-6F ITT Cannon, LLC | Connectors, Interconnects | DigiKey

M24308/4-6F Amphenol Positronic | Connectors, Interconnects | DigiKey

All of these come with the crimp pins, but not the tooling. According to the ITT cannon datasheet here, page 91 (marked 90) shows the higher power crimp option that should be compatible. They list specific numbers for the wire sizes. The only issue is that this particular size should be #20 which is too small for this tool. I am having difficulty finding the tooling, I’m going to get in touch with ITT Cannon in this instance.

The hand crimp tools and locators that are compatible are to the row that says “contact size 2018.”
