A search for series 43030 and 43031 contacts shows them to be available in “Stamped” and “Power.” What’s the difference?
Hello,
What part numbers are you looking at?
Greetings,
The distinction between “stamped” and “power” types in that context has more to do with imperfections in data management than anything else. Ignore it and base your selections on the other remaining attributes.
Sorry for the dalay. We had a massive weather event last night, and I’ve been tied up all day with insurance and repair companies. Anyway, here are two part nos.:
0430315003 (Stamped)
0430310007 (Power)
There are many other examples if you search for “Molex 43030” or “Molex 43031,” then select “Rectangular Contacts.” I couldn’t find an explanation for this anywhere, including an online Molex catalog.
Thanks Rick, if that’s the case, I’ll just ignore it when I order the contacts.
