Good morning everyone, I need to identify some SMD components of an Acer Aspire 3 A315 motherboard, model c5v01 la-e892p rev 2a, they are under the GPU. Thanks

@racaan71

I am not seeing anything for the 1st item or the “magic 1r0” item
For the “magic 1r0” item and the other that are note the first item what marking was on the board?

On the board the marking for the Magic is PL1002 .

Hi @racaan71 ,

The 1st one is AON6962. It’s obsolete. Some sources suggest that AON6992 is a good replacement (at your own risk).

Thanks Heke, you were very helpful.

@racaan71
For the Magic 1R0 would you have the dimensions?
If it is an inductor like the searching I have done seems to suggest we would need to verify the size of the case.

Thanks Nathan, the measurements are 6.6mm X 6.6mm.

Thanks guys for the help, I have identified all the components except one, the second one in the photo, do you have any idea what it is?

Hmm, I’m split between if this should be a diode or a resistor. The 2R0 code follows a 2.0 ohm code, but the strip at the top makes me think it’s polarized. Do you have the size of this item?

yes it is 7x4mm

Could it be a polymer capacitor?

Either that or a tantalum. Here is one list of potential options, click HERE. These part numbers might also suffice: 718-1821-1-ND, 718-293D225X0050D2TE3CT-ND, and 718-TR3D225K050C0800CT-ND.

Thanks Kaleb
