I’m working with a research group to develop a novel medical sensor using the AMS/Osram Mira050 CMOS image sensor. I would like to get full documentation for this part, beyond the 8 page summary posted on your website.
So far, my attempts to request information from AMS/Osram have not been answered. Can you help us obtain the full datasheet?

Thanks. I’ve been on that page, and there is only a link “request full datasheet”. I’ve followed this link and gotten no response. The “user guide” is for their SERES platform, not for the image sensors. We would like to develop our own hardware using the Mira050 and I have extensive experience doing this with other manufacturer’s devices. We just need the full datasheet.
AMS/Osram have so far been unresponsive. I was hoping that as a stocking distributor you might be able to at least put us in contact with someone at AMS who will talk to us
How long ago did you submit the request to the manufacturer for the full data-sheet?
As sometimes it can take a while before they respond. As it is also possible they they are still working on other requests for data-sheets and have a back log.
For these kind of sensors you may need to do a NDA with them. Which would need you to have submitted the request you have already done and have them provide to you the next steps.
If your request was recent I would wait a bit more.
Suppliers of image sensors seem difficult to deal with as a general rule. Not sure why…
I’ll send a note to our contact on file and see if we can’t elicit some sort of response. Was your request to Osram made using the same email as you have on file here for the forum?
Yes, my request was made using the same email
Maybe the “.edu” domain gets filtered out by their request software?
In the past I have sometimes had to work hard to convince them that
we are doing real R&D work here, not just teaching classes!
